- The Columbus Dispatch
"An atmosphere of anticipation surrounds every new work by Amy Seiwert." —Voice of Dance
Contemporary dance and cutting-edge technology come together to create an integrated, multi-media theatrical experience like no other. Choreographer Jimmy Orrante and video game composer Sean Beeson, along with technical support from OSU’s Advanced Computing Center for the Arts and Design (ACCAD), will create an interactive environment which is affected and influenced by the choreography and the audience. Internationally recognized software artist Frieder Weiss will join acclaimed contemporary choreographer Amy Seiwert to produce a piece where real-time video images are created in direct response to the movement of the dancers. Don’t miss DanceTech, a unique, must-see event. No performance will be the same!
