Connect Columbus is a collaboration between local nonprofit organizations, Habitat for Humanity-Greater Columbus and ParityInternational.org. Connect Columbus is a technology initiative to connect over 200 low-income Habitat Columbus families to technology in their homes, and provide ongoing computer training to these families. We are looking for individuals that are willing to help make a difference in our community. If you enjoy working with computers and are interested in helping others, then here is your opportunity!
Volunteers are needed who are willing to help train low-income families on how to use a computer and the Internet. We will provide training and materials for all volunteer roles: Tech Mentors, Installation Volunteers, Computer Course Assistants, Instructors, Refurbishing and more. An online resource site will also be offered to support your work of training families in your community.
