Due to inclemenent weather forecast the Ohio Dominican University area clean-up by students and faculty scheduled on Thursday, September 16 has been postponed until Sept. 24 from 4:30 PM to 8:30 PM.
Volunteers and community based organizations are needed to help clean up the Alum Creek river banks, greenway areas, and nearby roadsides.Participants meet at Ohio Dominican University. St. Albert’s Hall (1216 Sunbury Road, Columbus, OH 43219)
Attendees should dress accordingly with long pants, sturdy shoes, and hats.
Work gloves, trash bags, beverages and some snacks are provided.
The mission of Friends of Alum Creek and Tributaries (FACT) is to preserve and protect the quality and beauty of the
Alum Creek watershed and promote environmentally responsible recreation, educational opportunities, and citizen participation at many levels. FACT is a community based non-profit volunteer organization serving as the environmental steward for the Alum Creek watershed within southern Delaware and Franklin counties.
