(Columbus) – Back by popular demand, David Tutera, star of We tv’s “CELEBration” and “My Fair Wedding” will make a return appearance for the 2018 Columbus Weddings Show on Jan. 13 and 14, 2018, when Worthington Jewelers presents The Columbus Weddings Show at the Ohio Expo Center, 717 E. 17th Ave., in Cardinal Hall.
This is the biggest and only two-day Wedding Show in Columbus, and includes everything to-be-weds can imagine for their perfect day: more than 140 wedding companies and experts covering the ring to the honeymoon and everything in-between. Couples will be inspired, get new ideas, meet with company owners face-to-face and get their toughest questions answered, all in an afternoon and all in one place. Attendees can taste samples from 20+ companies including cakes, sweets, caterer’s special creations and hors d'oeuvres, plus see the most wedding gowns in one place, inspect invitations, compare photographers' work, and consult with wedding professionals. And many vendors will offer special discounts only to show attendees.
“We brougnt David to Columbus again because last year he packed the house,” said Emma Frankart Henterly, editor of Columbus Weddings Magazine. “David not only has a fun and informative presentation, he loves to answer questions about wedding planning for any budget, so brides get a chance for David to comment on their unique situation.”
This year, Tutera will participate in two special promotions. On Saturday at 10:15 on the stage, David will select the winner of the Sunny 95 Bridal Fashion Giveaway – 100 brides who qualified in December through a Sunny95 contest will compete to win a complete wedding ensemble for their special day. And on Saturday evening David will dine with six lucky winners and their guests in a private dinner, courtesy of The Estate at New Albany and WCVO The River radio station.
The Columbus Weddings Show will take place on Saturday, Jan. 13 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, Jan. 14 from noon until 5 p.m. at Cardinal Hall at the Ohio Expo Center/Ohio State Fairgrounds.
One of the most popular features of The Columbus Weddings Show are the four fashion Runway Shows that will feature the latest styles from David’s Bridal, Henri’s Cloud Nine, Men’s Warehouse, White of Dublin and Off White with hair and makeup by Charles Penzone artists. There will be 62 looks of the latest bridal fashions featured at each show at 12:30 pm and 3:30 pm both days.
