The New Albany Walking Club was founded on the idea that health and wellness can be achieved through a planned walking program. The cardiovascular benefits of walking can equal those of running. In addition, the mental and emotional benefits of walking such as the reduction of stress and the opportunity to build relationships is present while walking with others. This club offers several different distances to choose from on Sunday morning (rain or shine). You will not walk alone and after the walk you will be induced in a post walk gathering with coffee and healthy snacks.
