The Worthington Area Chamber of Commerce plans to present Old Worthington Market Day — Worthington's largest day-long festival — on Saturday, Sept. 12, 2020, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event takes place, rain or shine, on the streets of downtown Worthington - primarily along High Street (US 23), from SR 161 south to South Street.
Old Worthington Market Day features a colorful display of artisan-crafted goods from jewelry, pottery and ceramics to beautiful paintings, decorative clothing and unique wood products. Typically, more than 250 exhibitors display their wares each year.
Numerous community and school groups also participate, selling food items or handcrafted goods.
Free shuttle buses are provided to the festival area from the parking lots at Thomas Worthington High School. There is no charge to attend.
Arts and crafts vendors, community groups and food vendors may apply to participate in the event by calling the Chamber office at 614-888-3040. Those who apply by Aug. 1 receive an early bird discount of $25.
